There are times when you want to ask yourself, “what is God doing?” Fortunately, we already know the answer to that question. Isn’t God the one who said,” I know the plans that I have for you”? Isn’t He also the one who said “I will be with you always”? Well, last time I checked, that is exactly what He said. So, what is He doing when we don’t get visas? He is working out His plan for our lives.

We have known for months that we could have troubles with our visas, and so each time we come on a visa run, we go home praising God for 4 more months to do his work. This time, unfortunately it would seem, we didn’t get our 4 more months. The most we can get is two weeks. The visa rules for Thailand have been changed within the past couple of weeks, and so we can no longer just go back to America and get a year visa like Roy did.  At first this seemed like a huge blow. But, I know that God did not put children into our hands for no reason. If it is time for us to leave, then God will provide good christian homes for each one of them. If we are not to leave, but raise these kids for God, then we are on the brink of something amazing… an awe inspiring demonstration of God’s power and guidance.

Please pray for us that our faith would grow stronger and that we would be willing to follow wherever God chooses to lead us.
