The Move

Today has been busy with packing and trying to calm the little girls. Roy has taken several loads of belongings to our new location, and Lena stopped by with the truck, already partly filled with the doors and shutters for our new house, but we filled it the rest of the way with more stuff. I am afraid that we have just increased our belongings instead of reducing them.

Anyway…tomorrow is the big day to actually get us into our new place. The house we will be moving to is around 600 square feet, so it is a bit smaller than any of our other houses. It will be interesting to see if we can fit everyone in! One of our biggest goals will be to build a new house that holds all of us, and any additions that the Lord sends our way.

But, what I really wanted to tell you about is the encouragement that we got today! There is a girl, probably around 16 years old,  that has been coming to our house every evening. She hangs around, then has worship with us, and then learns English in the evening along with our own kids. Today, she told her parents that she has decided to be baptized! Unfortunately, her Buddhist parents were none too thrilled.  Please pray for her, since a lot of kids over here are rejected by their whole family when they become Christians, and it is pretty hard on them.

If that was not enough good news…while we were talking about her problems with her family, Sehdoe said that he is planning to be baptized too, but he wants to wait until December so that he can learn more first! My cup overfloweth!
