Sorry guys, but probably every 4 months you can expect me to tell you all about how terrible Thai culture can be! Travis and I left on Sunday for our visa run to Lao, and it was horrid! They actually had the nerve to play an X-rated movie on a public bus full of people! And, to make matters worse, Travis and I seemed to be the only ones bothered by it. Karen and Thai are night and day different. The Karen have their problems, believe me, but the Thai are in a class by themselves. They are really sweet people on the whole, but the things that they watch and listen to are beyond description. I wonder how we will ever be able to reach the Thai? We really need to pray that God would help us to know what to do! We also need to pray the God would send people who care enough to even try to reach these people. I am sure that deep down, they cannot feel comfortable with the things that they were watching.

On a brighter note…. we are finally home again! But, this next week Ben, Jason and Travis will be going on a trek to explore the roadless area that we live next to. That means that I will have no transportation… hence, no updates! So hang on and I will try to be back one week from now. Also, pray for the boys since they will be in really wild territory. Tigers, snakes, people with little contact with the outside world… it should be really interesting!
