It seems that our hot season school is nearly over for the year. Many of the short term students are preparing to leave, and more long term students will be arriving soon. It has been a very blessed time. I always find it so amazing when the students report that family worship morning and evening is their favorite part of the school.
I really don’t know how many students we taught during this hot season since we eventually stopped keeping track. Students came and went as they had time available. Many of our short term students turned into long term students now, and we are so happy to have them stay. Most of them are really hard workers and decided to take a break from studying so that they could finish up the buildings that are needed. It was their idea, which made teaching the short term students so much easier for Sarah and I.
What I have learned through this hot season is that worry is blind, stupid and completely unreasonable! I was so worried about having so many students come with so few of us to do the teaching, but God worked things out much better than I could have ever imagined. We are not worn out, we are not burned out, we are eagerly looking forward to our next school session! Amazing, huh? If you stop and think about it, that is just as awesome as God parting the red sea!
