An intense pain shot through my back as I tried to sit up this morning. Oh NO! Not again. I have had problems with my back for a long time, but over here there are not any chiropractors to go to, so a bad back is a bit more unwelcome. Roy went out and had morning worship with the kids, while I lay on my bed, not feeling discouraged, but trying to figure out how to solve this problem on my own. If only Gayle were here to help me! She does this incredible massage that puts my back into place real fast, but she is a LONG ways away. Right after worship Travis announced that the Thai Mission Pastors, and Pastor Dang were on their way down the path to visit us! Roy quickly set me on my feet, and I struggled into my clothes, and then gingerly walked to the living room. I did not want to make a spectacle of myself, so I just stood there and visited with our guests. The only problem was that I felt like I was going to faint at any second, my face was white, and I broke out into a cold sweat. Fortunately, most of the guests didn’t seem to notice, only Pastor Dang asked me privately if I were feeling well. He knows me, so he could tell that all was not right.  Now I am perched in my hammock, “enjoying†a nice long rest. God is good, because I can walk, and I can lay down! I never liked sitting on the floor anyway, so this should not be too terrible. In fact, the benefits are not that bad either. I don’t think that I will be able to wash diapers today, and I am missing out on the work program. Hmmm… really, I didn’t plan this, but if I have to have a bad back, at least I can think of a few things to be thankful for! But, if you don’t mind, could you pray that my back would heal really fast? Doing diapers is not that bad, and the work program is good exercise!
