Cleaning Up

This morning, I still have that wet noodle feeling all over, but I could no longer stand my room the way it was. I had collected quite the pile of equipment right here beside the bed. I lay here on my bed taking inventory, and I found that I had one thermometer, one stethoscope and blood pressure kit, one huge bottle of paracetemol, one bottle of children’s paracetemol, one bowl of water, (to keep the ants out of my soy milk) one plate, one cup, one spoon, one cookie tin, (to keep the ants out of my food…no, it didn’t have cookies in it!) Numerous medical books, a flashlight, my bible, a water bottle,  5 blankets , 3 pillows, and a cell phone! No wonder I didn’t like the way the room looked! It had that definite hospital feeling to it. So, all morning long, I put first one thing away, and then another, resting between each foray into the great wide world,  until now I have the bare minimum here beside me and a very satisfied grin on my face! Most of the time, it isn’t the big things that give us the most happiness in life, but the little things. Not only that, but it is also the little things in life that form our characters and get us ready for heaven.
