I wrote up a whole bunch of things to tell you when I could get to internet, but I am going to discard them and just tell you how things are right now! (they are changing all the time)
Early this week, Hannah’s father showed up at the training center. I found out that he had not given up on his family and was trying to get his wife back. Nobody would look me in the eye, and when you don’t speak the language, it is hard to figure out just what is going on! I figured that if the mother returned, then I would have to give Hannah back to them. Well, last night she came. I was pretty upset, since I had my heart set on this baby already. But, today the parents both asked me to keep her and her 3 year old sister! So, I am trying to sort this all out. I don’t know why they want me to have them when they are both here, but they said something about not being able to provide for them. So, this story is not finished. I will let you know more when I find out. In the mean time, I am trying to keep track of the 3 year old here at the internet shop, and I can’t even talk to her! I have not named her yet, so if anyone has any great name ideas let me know right away! Please keep these little ones in your prayers as it is a stressful time for all of us.
Ruth! Mary! Rachel! Deborah! Rebecka! Sarah! Ester! um….Miriam! Dinah! Lets see, I’m looking through my bible for more names here….Nah, none of Esau’s wives names….Naomi! Orpha! You know, it has occured to me that with the addition of two daughters to your home that you now have the six kids you always talked about before you got married! Now I have pictures of the 14 month old Hannah, but I don’t have a picture of the new little girl yet. Pictures! We all want to see pictures! I’m so excited for you Lisa! This is wonderful news!
Love,
Jeff
